Dora Teitelboim (1914-1992), was born in Brest, Belarus. A poet, in 1932 she immigrated to the United States, in 1950 she moved to France, and in 1972 she immigrated to Israel.

Click for a larger image Malka Heifetz-Tussman (1896-1987), was born in Bolshaya-Khaitcha, Ukraine. A poet, in 1912 she immigrated to the United States.

Click for a larger image Jacob Glatstein (1896-1971), born in Lublin, Poland. Yiddish poet and writer, in 1914 he immigrated to the United States. Published more than 30 books of poetry.
Click for a larger image Itzik Manger (1901-1969), born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Poet, playwright and writer. Best known for the songs of the scroll, including characters from the scroll of Esther working in a Jewish town in Eastern Europe. The songs were also dramatized into a musical called "The Scroll" which was a great success in Israel.
