בניין ג’נראלי
בניין ג’נראלי נבנה בין השנים 1934-36 עבור משרדי חברת ביטוח איטלקית, שהציבה את סמלה, אריה מכונף מחזיק בספר, בראש המבנה. מאז שלהי תקופת המנדט משמש הבניין, המשלב ניאו-קלאסיקה עם מודרניזם, למשרדי ממשלה שונים, אדריכל - מרצ’לו פיאצ’נטיני, מאדריכלי המונומנטאליזם האיטלקי המודרני.

أقيم هذا البناء بين ١٩٣٤ - ١٩٣٦ ، ليكون مقرا لمكاتب شركة تأمين ايطالية . نصبت شعارها ، وهو أسد ذو جناحين يحمل كتابا ، على قمة البناء ، الذي يمزج بين الطراز الکی الحدث والطراز الحديث . منذ أواخر عهد الانتداب استخدم البناء ، مقرأ مختلفة . المهندس : مرتشيلو بياتشينيني من مهندسي المعالم والاثار الايطاليه العصريين

GENERALI BUILDING
BUILT FROM 1934 TO 1936 FOR AN ITALIAN INSURANCE COMPANY (HENCE ITS NAME) WHOSE SCULPTURED EMBLEM, A WINGED LION WITH A BOOK, IS ON THE ROOF. SINCE THE MID 1940S THE BUILDING, WHICH FUSES NEO-CLASSICISM WITH MODERNISM, HAS HOUSED GOVERNMENT OFFICES. DESIGNED BY MARCELLO PIACENTINI, A RENOWNED ITALIAN ARCHITECT OF THE MODERN MONUMENTALIST STYLE.

A sign of the Jerusalem "The Built Heritage" series, a project initiated by architectural historian David Kroyanker in 1993, in which buildings of historic value were commemorated in central Jerusalem.
The signs were designed by Harel Designers Office, and the logo is in the form of a relief of a rosette window ("Rosetta").
