בית העירייה הישן, בית העיר - הבניין הוקם בשנת 1925 על ידי היהודי האמריקאי א. סקורה בתכנון האדריכל משה צ’רנר. הבניין תוכנן כמלון, אולם שימש מאז 1925 ועד 1965 כמשכנה של עיריית תל אביב בתקופת ראשי הערים מאיר דיזנגוף, דוד בלוך, ישראל רוקח, חיים לבנון, ומרדכי נמיר. הרחבה בחזית בית העירייה שימשה לכינוס עצרות וחגיגות, והיוותה את הכיכר המרכזית של העיר במשך שנים רבות. בחזית הבניין קבוע סמל עיריית תל אביב שעוצב על ידי האמן נחום גוטמן בשנת 1925. המוטיב המרכזי הוא מגדלור מפיץ אור ושבעה כוכבים, רמז לדגל שתיאר הרצל בספרו "מדינת היהודים". לאחר מעבר העירייה לבניינה החדש, הפך הבניין ל"מוזיאון לתולדות תל אביב", ומאז שיפוצו בשנת 2009 משמש כ"בית העיר" למטרות תצוגה, מידע על העיר, ובימה עירונית לשיח אזרחי.

بيت البلدية القديم ، بيت المدينة . لقد أقيم المبنى في عام ١٩٢٥ من قبل اليهودي الأمريكي أ . سكورة بتخطيط من المهندس المعماري موشيه شرنر . وقد صمم المبنى فندق ولكنه استخدم منذ عام ١٩٢٥ وحتى عام ١٠٦٥ كمقر لبلدية تل أبيب في فترة رؤساء البلدية مائير ديزنجوف ، ديفيد بلوخ يسرائيل روكاح ، حاييم ليفنون ومردخاي نمير . الساحة الواسعة في البلدية نم استخدامها لعقد التجمعات والاحتفالاته وشكلت الميدان المركزي للمدينة . لمدة سنوات كثيرة مثبت في جهة البناء شعار بلدية تل أبيب الذي صمم من قبل الفنان ناحوم بونمان في عام ١٩٢٥ . الشكل المركزي هو منارة تشع ضوء وسبعة نجوم ، روز لعلم والذي وصفه هرتسل في كتابه "مدينة اليهود" . بعد انتقال البلدية إلى مبناها الجديد . تحول المبنى إلى متحف التاريخ تل أبيب " ومنذ ترميمه في عام ٢٠٠٩ يستخدم ك " بيت المدينة لاهداف العرض معلومات عن المدينة ، ومسرح بلدي للحوار المدني

Beit Ha’ir, Tel-Aviv’s Old Town Hall - Beit Ha’ir was built in 1925 by an American Jew named A. Skora, employing designs by architect Moshe Tzerner, and was originally intended to be a hotel. the building served as Tel Aviv’s City Hall from 1925 to 1965 and for many years the plaza in front was the city’s main square. The Tel-Aviv Municipality logo, designed by artist Nachum Gutman in 1925, is affixed to the building’s façade. After City Hall moved to its new premises, Beit Ha’ir became the Museum of Tel Aviv’s History, and since its 2009 renovation also serves as a venue for exhibits, source of information about the city, and a municipal stage for civic discourse.
