Haim Amitai - theater actor, born in Vilnius, Lithuania (1898-1973), immigrated to Israel in 1920.
At first he played in the "Ohel " theater, in 1932 he joined the "Habima" theater where he played in dozens of plays.
Fordhaus Ben-Tzissi - composer and conductor - born in Khodorkov, Ukraine (1896-1979), immigrated to Israel in 1924.
At first he was a conductor in the Israeli Opera, and in the Symphony Orchestra of the Land of Israel. Starting in 1929, he was the conductor who accompanied the stage theater performances.
The house on Frug Street is in an area where many artists lived, probably because of the workers’ dormitories (where they lived or were authorized), buildings built at the initiative of the Histadrut, built in the international style and inhabited by Histadrut activists and artists. The area was also called the "Habima neighborhood" because of the large number of actors who lived in the area.
