The sign is on the wall of the house where Nissan Nativ lived - director and acting teacher, born in Munich, Germany (1922-2008), immigrated to Israel in 1937.
Studied theater in several schools in Israel and abroad. After directing several plays, he joined the acting school of the "Habima" theater and managed it. He helped establish the "Beit Zvi" acting school, and later founded the Nissan Netiv acting studio, which he ran until the day he died.
Winner of the Israel Prize in the field of theater, which he did not get to receive in person since he passed away 3 months before receiving the award.
Winner of the Israeli Theater Award.

The house where he lived was part of the workers’ dormitories, buildings built at the initiative of the Histadrut, built in the international style and inhabited by Histadrut activists and artists
