The sign is on the fence of the house where Pooa Grinshpon lived - composer and music teacher, born in Odessa, Ukraine (1900-1966), immigrated to Israel in 1904.
After studying music as a child in Israel, he went to Italy at the age of 23 to specialize in playing and teaching it.
Taught music in schools in Israel, and founded institutes for learning music in different schools.
He established the "Halilit" factory for the production of recorders.
The sign was placed in 2012.
