The sign is located in the place where Yocheved Bat Miriam lived (the name where she was born is Yocheved Zhlezniak) - an Israeli poet, born in Kaplic, Belarus (1900-1980), immigrated to Israel in 1929. Yocheved won the Israel Prize for Literature (1972), the Bialik Prize (1964) and the Brenner Prize (1963). This house on Dizengoff Street was a place often visited by friends of Yocheved Bat-Miriam, including Natan Alterman, Avraham Shlonsky, Avot Yeshurun, Yonatan Ratosh, Leah Goldberg and more.
