Miriam and Samuel Rotrosen Yiddish Writers Garden

Given in memory of Pincus & Rachel Rothberg and Phineas & Esta Rotrosen, by the Rotzosen and Schreiber families

The garden is located in the center of Yiddish books in the city, an institution established in 1980 with the aim of preserving literature written in Yiddish.

You’ve arrived at the Yiddish Writers Garden, a quiet corner commemorating 120 of the greatest Yiddish writers. Their spirited, challenging, tragic, and witty works are a culmination of 1,000 years of Jewish literary imagination.
