Comments:
The ceramic work made by Germano Belletti in 1945 depicting a Madonna and a child in her arms. On both sides Saints Ercolano (bishop of Perugia in the sixth century AD who was canonized) and Costanzo di Perugia the first bishop of Perugia (second century AD) offer the city to the Holy Virgin.

The residents of Perugia believe that the image of the Holy Mary saved them from the bombings in World War II.
