Comments:
The sign commemorates the writer, poet and statesman Felice Cavallotti (1842-1898) and is located in the square that bears his name.
Cavallotti fought with Giuseppe Garibaldi’s forces in the battles for the liberation and unification of Italy. Later elected to the Italian Parliament. He died in a duel with a newspaper editor after insulting him.
