Battle of Tzova
During the "Harel" operation, the "Palmah Harel" fighters attacked the village of Tsova twice. Light on the 9th and 11th of Nisan 1948 (nights 18-17, 20-19 April 1948). But both attempts failed and the forces returned to their base. As part of Operation "Dani" on the Friday of Tammuz 1948 (the night of July 12-13, 1948), the "Palmah Harel" fighters from the Kastel stormed towards Tsova and captured the village.

Its occupation, as well as the occupation of other villages, on the road going down from here to the Shaar-Gai-Hartov road, by the fighters of the Harel Palmach, made it possible to open another axis of traffic to and from Jerusalem.
