בית הכנסת "ש"י עגנון"
בית המדרש הגדול "תפארת ישראל" על שם ש"י עגנון נבנה בשנת 1932 בתכנון אדריכל אלכסנדר פרידמן. בתוכנית המקורית לשכונה הועיד האדריכל ריכרד קאופמן את המגרש לבניית קריה ציבורית הכוללת בית-עם ואקדמיה לאומנות. במלחמת העולם השנייה החרים הממשל הבריטי את המבנה, אשר שימש עד עזיבתם את הארץ מחסן נשק. במהלך השנים שימש מחסן של האוניברסיטה העברית. בשנת 1971 נחנך בית הכנסת מחדש, בתהלוכת ספרי תורה שהובאו מהצריף הישן, ונקרא על שם ש"י עגנון, שנמנה עם קהל המתפללים בצריף הישן.

كنيس الكاتب شي. عجنون
اقيم الكنيس "تيفئيريت "إسرائيل" عام ۱۹۳۲ بتصميم المهندس المعماري ألكسندر فريدمان خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية استخدمت حكومة الانتداب البريطاني العمارة كمستودع للأسلحة وبعد قيام الدولة استخدمته الجامعة العبرية كمستودع عامّ ۱۹۷۱ تم تدشين الكنيس المجدد وصارت تسميته على الكاتب عجنون، الذي كان من سكان الحي.

AGNON SYNAGOGUE
Built in 1932 according to the design of architect Alexander Friedman on a plot that was designed for public buildings. During World War 2 the British government used it as an arsenal and later the Hebrew University used it as a warehouse. Rebuilt In 1971 and named after the Literature Nobel Laureate Shmuel Agnon, who lived in Arnona.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel

At the entrance to the synagogue is a sign that reads:
בית הכנסת בשכונת תלפיות פתח שעריו בשנת תרפ"ג ב"צריף" שברחוב קורא הדורות, עם תחילת יישובה של השכונה. יוו"ט בית הכנסת וראשו במשך כל השנים על פטירתו היה
ר’ מרדכי בן אברהם חיים כספי ז"ל (תרמ"ד - תש"ז)
איש ירושלים, עסקן צבורי וקונסול מדינת לטביה בא"י.

אבן הפינה לבנין הנוכחי הונחה בשנת תרצ"ג בנוכחות רבה הראשי של ארץ ישראל
הרב אברהם יצחק הכהן קוק זצ"ל.
תחילת הבנין בשנת תרצ"ד. רק בשנת תש"ל נפתח בית הכנסת במקומו, זה לאחר שהושלם בנינו והוכשר ליעודו.

The synagogue in the Talpiot neighborhood opened its doors in the year 1923 in the "Barracks" on Kora Dorot Street, with the beginning of the settlement of the neighborhood.

The beginning of the building in the year 1934. It was only in the year 1970 that the synagogue was opened in its place, this after the building was completed and prepared for its purpose.
