בית יוסף רודי תוכנן על ידי אדריכל לא ידוע בשנת 1913 בסגנון אקלקטי ושימש למגורים. המבנה לשימור מתוקף תכנית 2650 ב’.
המבנה נמנה עם הבתים הראשונים בשכונה "תל אביב מרכזית" הנכללת בגרעין ההיסטורי של העיר.
סגנון הבנייה משלב מסורות יהודיות מזרח אירופאיות ביחד עם אלמנטים מזרחיים של קונזולות, חיפויים מאבן מסותתת, עמודים וכותרות. את חזית הבית מעטרים עמודים יווניים בעלי כותרת יונית, מעל הכניסה הראשית חלון יפואי עגול, מעליו ויטראז’ גדול המאיר בצעוניות את חדר המדרגות וחלונות מקומרים המפארים את הבית.
הבית הוא אחד הבתים הבודדים שנותרו עד לשנים האחרונות טרם שיפוצו בחזקת המשפחה המקורית, משפחת יוסף רודי, מחלוצי ענף הצילום בארץ. רודי צילם בסטודיו שלו "הצלמנייה" שנמצא בביתברחוב לילינבלום 14.
המבנה שומר בשנת 2016 על ידי אדר’ יניב פרדו, היזם: סיוון אחזקות בע"מ, המבצע: צ.פ. חברה לבנין בע"מ.

Josef Rudy House was designed by an unknown architect in 1913 the eclectic style and used for residential purposes. The building was listed for preservation in the 2650 B conservation plan. The building was among the first houses of the Central Tel Aviv neighborhood and is an important part of the city’s history the city’s design style combines Eastern European Jewish tradition with Eastern elements of consoles chiseled stone cladding. pillars and capitals. The building’s facade is decorated with Greek pillars with Greek capitals; above the main entrance there is a round Jaffa-style window with a large stained glass above it that illuminates the stairwell with color, and arched windows that decorate the house.
The house is one of very few houses that were until recent years before the renovation under the ownership of the original family. that of Josef Rudy. Rudy was a pioneer photographer in Israel, and he worked in the studio ’Hatzalmania’-photographers studio that is located in the house at 14 Lilienblum.
