The sign is on the wall of the house where Sasha (Alexander) Argov lived - composer, born in Moscow, Russia (1914-1995), immigrated to Israel in 1934.
One of the prominent composers of Israeli music. He composed more than 1,200 songs including for the best singing groups in Israel. He also composed musical plays, the most famous of which is "Slomo the King and Shalmai the Shoemaker".
Winner of the Israel Prize in the field of Hebrew singing (1988)
