The sign is on the wall of the house where Joseph Zaritsky lived - painter, born in Boryspil, Ukraine (1891-1985), immigrated to Israel in 1923. One of the greatest Israeli painters, one of the founders of the group of artists "New Horizons" (whose members were chosen in this apartment). He won the Israel Prize for Painting (1959), the Dizengoff Prize for the Art of Painting and Sculpture (1942), and other prizes. In this house where he lived, Zaritsky also established a studio between the years 1932-1933.
