ליזולטה גרז’בינה, צלמת גרמנייה-יהודייה, הגיעה לתל-אביב בשנת 1934, לאחר שנאלצה לסגור את הסטודיו שלה, עם עליית הנאצים לשלטון בגרמניה. בהגיעה לארץ הביאה עמה את סגנון הצילום האוונגרדי הגרמני, לו נשארה נאמנה ואף פיתחה אותו. היא עשתה זאת באמצעות תצפיות מרשימות ואלכסונים חזקים, תוך שימוש מיומן במראות, בהשתקפויות ובמחזות של אור וצל, כדי ליצור צורות גיאומטריות המעניקות לצילומיה אווירה שונה ומשמעות חדשה. הצילום שבתמונה הוא אחד מסדרת צילומים שהוזמן מגרז’בינה על ידי הרכבת המנדטורית בסביבות 1940.

وصلت لزولطة جرجبينا ، مصورة المانية يهودية ، الى تل ابيب 1934 ، بعد ان اضطرت إلى إغلاق الاستوديو الخاص بها ، مع مرعود النازية الحكم في ألمانيا . لدى وصولها الى البلاد احضرت والبلوب التصوير الطليعي الألماني ، التي ظلت ملتصقة به وطورته ايضا . فعلت ذلك بواسطة المشاهد المثيرة الملتقطة والخطوط العطرية القوية ، وذلك باستخدام ماهر للمرايا ، بالانعكاسات - ومشاهد الضوء والظل ، لخلق الأشكال الهندسية التي تضفي على تصاويرها جويا مختلفا ومعنى ومعنى جديدا ، الصورة الموجودة . امامنا هي واحدة من سلسلة صور التقطتها جرجبينا بطلب من قصار الانتداب حوالي عام 1940

The German-Jewish photographer Liselote Grschebina arrived in Tel Aviv in 1934, after she was forced to close her studio în Germany with the rise of the Nazis to power. Grschebina brought the avant-garde German style to this country, remaining true to and expanding upon it. Her style featured impressive observations and strong diagonals, with skilled use of mirrors, reflections, light and shadow to create geometric forms that give her photos a different atmosphere and new significance. The photograph seen here is part of a series commissioned from Grschebina by Palestine Railways around 1940.
