A Royal Egyptian Way Station

לפני כ-5,200 שנה בימיו של המלך המצרי נערמר מייסד השושלת הראשונה התמקמה כאן, בסמוך לנביעות, משלחת מצרית רשמית שכללה מפקד ובנאים.
בשנת 2007, שחזר צוות השימור של רשות הטבע והגנים את התחנה לפי קווי הקירות המקוריים, בלבנים ובשיטות בנייה הזהות למקור.

בצידו החיצוני של הקיר הצפוני נתגלו מעל חומה גושי טין ששימשו לחתימת כלי קיבול ועליהם טביעות של חותמת גליל. הטביעות מצביעות על מקורות אספקה מלכותיים מצריים. החותם שבתמונה נמצא בחדר המפקד.

About 5,200 years ago, in the days of the Egyptian Pharaoh Narmer (founder of the First Dynasty), an official Egyptian delegation, including a commander and builders, stopped her near the spring.
In 2007, an Israeli Nature and Parks Authority conservation team reconstructed the station based on the lines of the original walls, using bricks and construction methods identical to the original

The colored walls have been reconstructed and are presented here.

More than 100 lamps of clay were found on the outer side of the northern wall. Used to seal containers, they were stamped with the cylinder seals. The stamps indicate royal Egyptian supply sources.
