Sign-O-Pedia: Historical routes

About the tag

Background

A historical route is a walking route (usually) along landmarks of historical value.
The purpose of the route is to focus on a certain historical topic, while studying the topic by visiting the points of the route.

The points on the route are marked with a sign that characterizes the route , where the sign also contains details about the site. In many cases, an additional sign is placed with more detailed information about the point or the route

The routes can be divided into two main types:
1. A route where the points are on the historical sites themselves
2. Routes where there is no physical connection between the route points and the signs indicating them. Usually the signs are concentrated in one place, related in one way or another to the historical route .
