The sign is in the entrance space where they lived: Yehuda Gabbai - theater actor and childrens writer, born in Tulchyn, Ukraine (1906-1994), immigrated to Israel in 1921. He was among the founders of the "Ohel" theater and played in it until its closure. He founded the Municipal Theater Museum in Tel Aviv. He was married to Genia Berger who illustrated one of the childrens books he wrote
Genia Berger - painter, born in Kharkiv, Ukraine (1907-2000), immigrated to Israel in 1925. Illustrated many books, including the book of her husband Yehuda Gabai. In addition, she was engaged in designing stages and costumes.
The house where she lived was part of the workers’ dormitories, buildings built at the initiative of the Histadrut, built in the international style and inhabited by Histadrut activists and artists
