The sign is in the entrance space of the house where she lived - Yaffe Yarkoni, born in Givatayim, Israel (1925-2012).
One of the most famous female singers in Israel. Also known as the "singer of the wars" because of the many performances she gave to soldiers during the various wars.
Winner of the Israel Prize for Hebrew Singer (1998)

The house where she lived was part of the workers’ dormitories, buildings built at the initiative of the Histadrut, built in the international style and inhabited by Histadrut activists and artists
