Comments:
The sign is on the wall of the house where she lived - Edis De Philipe, opera singer, born in New York, United States (1912-1978), immigrated to Israel in 1945.
Before immigrating to Israel, she was a successful opera singer, who toured the United States and Europe.
In Israel, together with her husband, she founded the Israeli Opera, and was also the director of the operas presented there

Please note that Edis De Philipe’s year of birth on the plaque is incorrect.
