The sign is on the wall of the building where Moshe Ben Shaul lived - poet, writer, journalist, born in Jerusalem, Israel (1930-2007).
He authored children’s books, wrote poems (13 books of poetry) and dozens of books, translated many poems from French and edited literary magazines. Ben Shaul also illustrated books, designed stages and sets.
He won the Prime Minister’s Award twice (1992, 1999), and the Ze’ev Award for children’s literature for lifetime achievement.
