The sign is on the entrance gate of the house where David Ben Gurion and his family lived between 1973-1931. David Ben-Gurion - the first Prime Minister of the State of Israel, was born in Plonsk, Poland (1886-1973). He led the Hebrew settlement during the British Mandate period, and after the establishment of the state he served as Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. The house is currently used as a museum commemorating David Ben Gurion.

Although David Ben-Gurion does not belong to the "Artists who live in Tel Aviv" category, the commemorative sign on "Ben-Gurion" is identical in format to the commemorative signs of artists who live in Tel Aviv, so this sign was also added to that collection.
Ben-Gurion House was designed by architect David Tuvia in 1931
