סייר ביחידת סל"ע שמנע בגופו פיגוע רב-נפגעים בנחלת בנימין בת"א, ביום שבת י"ח באב 5.8.23 חן שהיה איש של נתינה, חסד ומעשים טובים, הותיר אחריו אישה ושלוש בנות צעירות.
חן בחר ביחידה בשל תחביביו - אופנועים וביטחון.
איבריו שנתרמו לבקשתו הצילו כ-50 אנשים.

Chen Amir (the King) RIP

Chen was the patrolman in the SELA unit who laid down his life to prevent a multi-casualty attack in Nachalat Binyamin in Tel Aviv, On Saturday the 5.8.23.
Chen, who was a giving man of kindness and good deeds, leaves behind a wife and three young daughters.
Chen chose to serve in his unit because of his hobbies - motorcycles and security. His organs, which were donated as per his wishes, have saved the lives of 50 people.

The commemorative corner was placed at the place where a patroller of the Tel Aviv Municipality was shot to death in an attempt to prevent a terrorist attack.
SELA - City Security Patrol is a body established by the Tel Aviv Municipality with the aim of increasing the security of the residents. A significant part of the body’s activity is done on motorcycles.
On Saturday, August 5, 2023, SELA patrols Chen Amir and his patrol partner noticed a suspicious citizen. When they arrested him, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Chen to death. The suspect - a Palestinian, who intended to carry out a shooting attack in central Tel Aviv - was shot to death by the patrolman, who was a Amir’s partner.
