Comments:
The monument commemorates the citizens of the city who fell in the First World War. In this war, Italy joined in 1915 the forces of the Allies of World War I.

At the base of the monument are places where battles took place in the First World War:
Battle of the Piave River / Battle of Monte Grappa / Battle of Vittorio Veneto / Battle of Montello

The monument was photographed that day by the same photographer (on the right you can see a marble tablet with the names of the fallen) Click for a larger image
