מקצבי זמן מקבילים מתקיימים זה לצד זה במורכבות של המציאות הישראלית העכשווית. מקצבי חירום לצד מקצבי שגרה. שעון הלחימה מול השעון המתקתק של החטופים. דקת התראה מתחלפת בדקת דומיה. אנו מהדהדים את המתח הזה, בנשימות עמוקות לצד התקפי חרדה, בנסיון לקום ולחיות שוב, לצד הנפילות, והעצב על אלו שלעולם לא יחיו שוב. משפחות שבביתן השעונים ממשיכים להסתובב, אך הזמן עצר מלכת.
שעון החול, אשר הפך זה מכבר לסמל המאבק לשחרור החטופים מעזה, מהווה תזכורת למתח הקשה שמייצר הזמן. יום-יום, שעה-שעה אנחנו עומדים בפני רצונות סותרים; הרצון לעצור את החול, לעצור את הכל, עד שובם והרצון להמשיך ולחיות, לקיים שגרה זמנית.
מתוך המתח הזה צמח פרויקט צילום מיוחד של הצלמת מאיה קלויצקי. שעון החול כסמל וכהוויה מחפש מקום במרחב החולין החדש שלנו שמנסה ללמוד את שגרת החירום. מקצב החול האוזל בכל עת משעונם של חטופינו מוציא את העורף ממקצב היום-יום החדש אליו הוא מסתגל ומכריח אותנו להתעמת עם המורכבות של החזרה לשגרה לצד השאלה הפועמת בכולנו- האם ניתן לעצור ולהמשיך בו-זמנית?
תערוכה זו עוסקת בשאלה קיומית זו, אולם היא גם קוראת לנו לניסוח עמדה, ולנסיון לשליטה על התודעה שלנו בתוך השגרה המנמללת.
את התערוכה פותח מיצב שעון החול שנבנה על ידי עמותת "רמת השניים" המפעילה את פרויקט "צבר 2.0" ומזמין את הצופה לקחת חלק פעיל במאבק - כאשר הפיכה של שעון החול מציבה בפנינו את הפרדוקס של השאיפה להעניק לחטופים עוד זמן מול ההכרה כי הדבר אינו באמת בידינו. הכמיהה של כל אחד ואחת מאתנו היא להיות מסוגלים להפוך את השעון, אפילו סימבולית, להזין את השעון, ולהמשיך. אולם המציאות היא שהחול ממשיך לטפטף בעודנו הולכים.
בהתאם לכך, התצלומים המוצבים לאורך קטע השדרה מזמינים את הצופה לחשוב על היחס בין שגרת החיים במרחב העורף, לבין תנועת זמן הפוכה בקרב אלו שנחטפו ממנו. שעון החול כמו רודף אותנו בכל מקום. המפגש של הסמל הזה עם שגרת המלחמה בעת הצילום יצר מתח וסקרנות, ועורר רגשות שונים בקרב העוברים והשבים במקום בו לא ציפו לו או אפילו ניסו להדחיק את מה שהוא מסמל כדי לאפשר שגרת חיים. כמכלול, התערוכה מציעה לצופים הערכה מחודשת של מושג הזמן - זמן שנחווה באופן גופני, כתנועה, במהלך השיטוט בשדרה והצפייה באמנות, אל מול חוויית זמן נטולת שליטה, ורוויה פחד וקיפאון.
פרויקט זה הוקם ביוזמתה ותמיכתה של משפחתה של ירדן רומן, שנחטפה לעזה ב-7 באוקטובר מקיבוץ בארי. לאורך הבשלת הפרויקט, חזרה ירדן מהשבי. מאחוריה נותרה גיסתה כרמל גת, ויותר ממאה חטופות וחטופים נוספים שעדיין מוחזקים בעזה.
פרויקט צבר 2.0 של עמותת "רמת השניים" הינו מסגרת עבור נוער בסיכון ואנשים עם צרכים מיוחדים. פעילות הפרויקט מתבססת על מתן כלים יצרניים וכישורי חיים ליצירת שוויון הזדמנויות בחברה הישראלית. המסגרת פועלת באמצעות חניכי שנת שירות ומתנדבים מהקהילה במתחם סדנאות מגוונות בתחומים שונים כגון מסגריה, נגריה, אומנות, מוזיקה בישול, אפיה וחקלאות, בקמפוס החינוכי מגידו. המסגרת ליוותה את הבשלת הרעיון של שעון החלון והשתמשה במגוון הכלים והמוחות היצירתיים העמודים לרשותם, בליווי ופיקוח של חברת פלרז הנדסה, בכדי להגיע לתוצר המוחשי שמוצב כאן היום.

THE CLOCK OF EVERYTHING
Parallel time rhythms coexist in the complexity of current Israeli reality. The rhythm of emergency alongside the rhythm of daily routine. The clock of war versus the ticking clock of the hostages. A minute of sirens replaced by a minute of silence. This tension is echoed through deep breaths alongside panic attacks, through the attempt to get up and live again alongside the sadness for those who will never get to live again. Families in whose houses the clock continues ticking but time has stood still.
The hourglass, which has become the symbol of the fight for the release of the hostages from Gaza, is a reminder of the strong tension produced by time. Day by day, hour by hour we face contradicting desires. The desire to stop the sand, stop everything, until they return, and the desire to continue to live and maintain a temporary routine.
Out of this tension emerged a special photography project by the photographer Maya Klevitsky. The hourglass as a symbol and manifestation seeks a place in our new everyday life adapting to the emergency routine. The flowing sand that could run out any time for our kidnapped loved ones disrupts our new day-to-day rhythm and forces us to confront the complexity of returning to routine, alongside the question that pulsates within us all Is it possible for one to stop and continue at the same time?
The exhibition deals with this existential question, yet it also urges us to position ourselves and attempt to gain control over our consciousness within our dull routine.
The exhibition opens with the hourglass installation built by the "Ramat Hashnayim" association, which operates the "Tzabar 2.0" project and invites the viewer to take an active part in the struggle in which the turning of the hourglass makes us face the paradox of the desire to provide the hostages with more time while having to recognize the fact that it is not actually in our hands. Each and every one of us has a longing to turn back the clock, even symbolically, to provide more time, and to move on. But the truth is that the sand continues to flow as we go on.
Accordingly, the photographs placed along the boulevard invite the viewer to think about the relationship between the routine of our life in the background and the reverse time movement for those who were kidnapped. The hourglass seems to haunt us everywhere. The clash between this symbol and the routine that cornes with the ongoing war represented within these photographs creates tension and curiosity and evokes different emotions among the passers-by when they don’t expect it or even try to suppress what it symbolizes in order to allow a routine of life.
Overall, the exhibition offers viewers a renewed appreciation of the concept of time - time experienced physically, as movement, while wandering the boulevard and observing art in contrast to the experience of time without control, marked by fear and stagnation.
This project was established with the initiative and support of the family of Yarden Roman, who was kidnapped to Gaza on October 7 from Kibbutz Be’eri. Throughout the development of this project, Yarden was released from captivity. Her sister-in-law, Carmel Gat, and more than a hundred other hostages are still being held in Gaza.
The "Tzabar 2.0" project of the "Ramat Hashnayim" association is a framework for at-risk youth and people with special needs. The project’s activity is based on providing productive tools and life skills to create equal opportunities in Israeli society.
The framework operates through gap year and volunteers from the community in a complex of diverse workshops in various fields such as carpentry, carpentry, art, music, cooking, baking, and agriculture, dagriculture, at the Megiddo educational campus. The framework accompanied the maturation of the idea of the hourglass. It used the variety of tools and creative minds at its disposal, with the help of Palraz engineering to bring the idea presented to the tangible product that is placed here today.

On a visit after 8/31/2024, it became clear that the performance had been removed (for this reason, it is also not possible to take the accompanying photos).
Carmel Gat, mentioned in the sign, who was alive in Hamas captivity at the time the sign was written, was murdered a few days before August 31, 2024. Carmel was supposed to be released in the deal of the captives, but the deal was delayed by the Israeli government and its head Binyamin Netanyahu (according to him for security reasons, according to many good people to maintain his coalition and the prime minister’s seat). Apparently, when the IDF forces approached Carmel and the other abductees, Hamas members shot them.
