Beit Eliyahu and Dr. Miriam Blumenfeld Established in 1912
Blunfeld was the first to purchase land in the valley (1,000 dunams) on which he built his house (planning: Baerwald), and his wifes clinic, which also served the surrounding Arabs. Many of the people of the second aliyah worked on his farm. Eliyahu was an active public figure in the moshavah and in the valley. The house was restored in 1973 by Yoel Zafarir.
