Ibiza was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999 for its biodiversity and culture.
The map indicates the old town of Ibiza which is one of the reasons for it being a world heritage site.

SANTA FAÇ MUSEUM SITE The Santa Faç area was the subject of several construction projects to make it available for public use, but its location, along the Islamic wall, and the discovery of the moat that protected one of the doors of the madina, have determined which was intended to explain the history of this part of the city.
The thematic content that can be seen deals with issues related to its urban context, with special attention to the pre-Renaissance wall and the buildings around it. Information from the past extracted from documentary funds and historical cartography is presented; without forgetting the few witnesses of the ancient period found in the place. Likewise, the excavation process of the properties is analyzed and some recovered materials are made known, such as the ceramics imported from Valencia and the monetary finds.
