The plaque in the Jewish ghetto in Venice is in memory of the Jews of Venice who were deported from the city mainly in 1944 to the concentration camps.

At the top of the sign is the word "Kaddish" in Hebrew, and between the two signs is a Star of David separator.

In the upper panel is a quote from a member of the French resistance forces
And in the lower panel a quote from who was the mayor of Venice.
