The statue was made by Leoncillo Leonardi in 1955 to mark the participation of women in the struggle against Nazi rule. The ceramic statue was placed in 1957 and in it you see a partisan woman armed with a weapon and with a colorful scarf around her neck (red that was changed to brown so as not to identify with communism). In 1961 the statue was blown up by a fascist movement. A statue was erected in a different form and in a nearby place, but this statue remains only with its base, while at the bottom is placed a mosaic panel with the image of the original statue.
