מק"ל - גימנסיה "בלפור"
גימנסיה "בלפור", ששכנה בבניין זה, שימשה בשנים תש"א עד תש"ז (1941-1947) מרכז אימונים של ההגנה, צבא המדינה שבדרך, בתחומים כגון: נשק קל, שדאות, טופוגרפיה, עזרה ראשונה, קשר והגנה עצמית.
המקום שימש גם מחבוא לנשק ("סליק").

Training Site - Balfour Gymnasium
The Balfour High School, which was located in this building, served as a training center for the Hagana - Israel’s pre-State army - between 1941 and 1947.
Its members received training in light weapons, fieldcraft, topography, first aid, signal communications and self-defense.
The site was also a secret arms cache.

The sign is rectangular but its head is designed according to the emblem of the city of Tel Aviv
