The sign is in front of the grave of Lova Eliav and his wife Tanya Eliav.
"The Land of the Deer" (Eretz Tzvi) whose illustration is on the sign is the name of Lova Eliav’s book in which he detailed his vision for the future of the State of Israel.

The special bond between the 11-year-old Lova and H.N. Bialik was created following an essay written by Luba. In the dedication to this photo from 1933, Bialik wrote: To Aryeh for memory. Be light as a deer and brave as a lion to do the work of your people.

Tania and Aryeh Lova Eliav Lova Eliav was an activist for immigration, settlement and peace. Member of the "Haganah" and the founders of the IDF Navy. Member of the Knesset, educator, writer and thinker. Winner of the Israel Prize (1988) for his special contribution to the country and society.
Tanya nee Zvi, born in Lithuania, a Holocaust survivor from Bergen-Belsen immigrated to Israel in 1947 on the immigration ship "Ulua - Haim Arlozorov" where she met Luba, who was the commander of the ship, and has been his right hand ever since.
