Meir Dizengoff Mayor of Tel Aviv in the years 1922-1925 and 1936-1928. One of the founders of "Ahuzat Bayit" which became Tel Aviv. See Tel Aviv as the center of the Jewish National Home in the Land of Israel.
He was called the "Father of the City".

On Wednesday, the 24th of Shevat 1938. The eighth memorial day for the passing of the late Zina Dizengoff, the wife of our late mayor, will be commemorated in a public ceremony at Zina Dizengoff Square, which was planted and arranged in memory of the deceased by the municipality with the help of the contributions of the municipality employees and the owners of the houses and lots around the square,
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 in the afternoon
For guests, the entrance is from Dizengoff Street on the side of King George Street

Chaim Arlozorov Zionist statesman and thinker. One of the leaders of the Labour movement in the Land of Israel.
Head of the political department of the Jewish Agency.
He believed in the settlement of the country in a socialist spirit, and in cooperation with the British government and the Arab settlement.
Murdered by unknown people on the beach of Tel Aviv on the night of Saturday 6/16/1933.

Max Nordau His original name is Meir Simcha Südfeld.
Psychiatrist by profession. Lived and worked in France, Zionist leader and writer, one of Herzls main assistants, believed in political Zionism.
In 1926 his bones were brought to Israel.
In preparation for his funeral, the main gate of the cemetery was erected.
