Pétanque Petanque is a bowling game that began to be played in 1907 in the Provence region of France. It is a sports game based on precision, coordination, tactics and teamwork and is suitable for all levels and ages of the community.
The purpose of the game is a competition between 2 teams who try, by tossing, to place their steel balls closer to the target (a wooden ball) than their opponent, for this purpose, they employ officers - a pointeur and a sniper.
At the end of throwing the balls, count the balls (points) of the team that managed to place them closer to the target ball than the nearest ball of the other team.
The game consists of games and the winning team is the first to score 13 points.
