בית הרב משה צבי נריה (מנקין)
בבית צנוע זה גרו אבי דור הכיפות הסרוגות הרב משה צבי נריה ורעייתו הרבנית רחל, ובו גידלו את שמונת ילדיהם.
הרב משה צבי נריה נולד בתרע"ג 1913 בלודז’ פולין. עלה ארצה בכ’ בתמוז תר"ץ 1930, והיה מתלמידיו של הרב קוק זצ"ל ב"מרכז הרב" בירושלים. ברוחו ובחזונו של הרב קוק התווהאת דרכה של תנועת "בני עקיבא".
ב-י’ בחשוון ת"ש 1939, יחד עם 13 נערים, ייסד את ישיבת בני עקיבא הראשונה בכפר הרא"ה. עשרות שנים עמד בראשה, ובעקבותיה הקים רשת של ישיבות תיכוניות אולפנות, ישיבות הסדר ומכללות.
הרב נריה - מנהיג ציבור. היה חבר כנסת מטעם המפד"ל.
בשנת תשל"ח 1978 קובל הרב נריה את פרס ישראל על תרומתו המיוחדת לחברה ולמדינה.
הרבנית רחל הייתה אשת חינוך רבת פעלים וחסד, וביחד עיצבו וסללו דרך לצעירי הציונות הדתית.
הרב נריה נפטר בי"ט בכסלו תשנ"ו 1995, ונטמן בבית העלמין בכפר הרא"ה.

The sign is one of a series of signs marking the early days of Kfar Haroeh.

Translation of the text on the sign:

Rabbi Moshe Zvi Neriya’s house (Menkin)
Rabbi Moshe Zvi Neriya and his rabbi wife Rachel lived in this modest house, the father of the knitted cap generation, where they raised their eight children.
Rabbi Moshe Zvi Naria was born in 1913 in Lodz, Poland. He immigrated to Israel in 1930, and was one of Rabbi Kook’s students at the "Merkaz HaRav" in Jerusalem. In the spirit and vision of Rabbi Kook, the path of the "Bnei Akiva" movement took shape.
In 1939, together with 13 boys, he founded the first Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Kfar Hara. For decades he headed it, and following it he founded a network of high school yeshiva Ulpanot, Hesder yeshiva and colleges.
Rabbi Neriya - public leader. He was a member of the Knesset on behalf of the National Religious Party.
In 1978, Rabbi Neriya received the Israel Prize for his special contribution to society and the country.
Rabbanit Rachel was an educator of many deeds and kindness, and together they shaped and paved a path for the young people of religious Zionism.
Rabbi Neria died on the 19th of Kislu 1995, and was buried in the cemetery in Kfar Haroeh.
