The statue is located in Parliament Square, and is one of the 12 statues surrounding the square.

The statue shows the person who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for three terms, and is considered one of the founders of the Conservative Party.

The statue made by Matthew Noble was presented in 1874 in the presence of British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli.
