Royal Warrant of Appointment from Queen Elizabeth II for Heywood Hill Bookstore. The store opened in 1936 and was run by its founder George Heywood Hill. During the Second World War when George was serving in the army, the store was run by his wife Lady Anne, who was assisted by the author Nancy Mitford.
The store that now specializes in rare books has been described as "the Queen’s favorite bookstore"
