The sign is on the wall of the house where they lived: Moshe Sternschuss - Sculptor, in Zerjany, Galicia (1903-1992), he immigrated to Israel in 1926. Member of the "New Horizons" group, the Dizengoff Prize laureate and founder of the Avni Institute, School of Art and Design Studies.
Ruth Sarfati - painter, sculptor, born in Petah Tikva, Israel (1928-2010). She studied art with Moshe Sternschuss , whom she later married. Member of the "Ofakim New Horizons" group. She is also known as an illustrator of books, mostly children’s books.
