צריף רב המושבה
כאן, ליד עץ האקליפטוס, עמד הצריף בו התגורר הרב, החכם ניסים יוסף סאגיס (שא-נס) ז"ל עם משפחתו. הוא היה הרב של המושבה באר-יעקב, בשנים 1925 עד פטירתו ב -1949. צריף העץ, גודלו כ-50 מ"ר, כלל מטבח ושני חדרים. השירותים היו מחוץ לצריף.
עם הקמת המדינה והעלייה הגדולה לארץ, עיברת הרב סאגיס את שם משפחתו וקרא לה שא- נס, עפ"י הפסוק: "ושא-נס לקבץ גלויותינו". תלמידיו מבורסה BURSA, בה שימש כרב, היו בבאר-יעקב לפניו והם ביקשו ממנו שיצטרף אליהם להנהיגם במושבה.

The hut of the rabbi of the colony
Here, next to the eucalyptus tree, stood the hut where the late Rabbi, the sage Nissim Yosef Sagis (Sa-Ness) lived with his family. He was the rabbi of the Be’er Ya’akov colony, from 1925 until his death in 1949.
The wooden hut, about 50 square meters in size, included a kitchen and two rooms. The toilets were outside the hut.
With the establishment of the state and the great aliyah to Eretz Yisrael, Rabbi Sagis changed his last name and called it Sa-Nas, according to the verse: "And let it be a miracle to gather our exile." To lead them in the colony.
