The old synagogue
The synagogue was built in 1924 in a beautiful and large hut, and was used by all the locals in the style of Spanish Jewry. The synagogue was the center of religious life in the colony.
In this synagogue, the late Rabbi Nissim Yosef Sagis (Sa-Ness), the rabbi of the Be’er Ya’akov colony, prayed.
Today the building is used as a kollel for the students.
