מעונות אדל שיפר - רח’ אחד העם 11-9
מבנה איקוני זה תוכנן ב-1936 ע"י האדריכלים בנימין אוראל ויחזקאל זוהר כבית דירות להשכרה בשכונת הטכניקום לשעבר.
קומת הקרקע מתוכננת כרחבת כניסה מקורה, שנתמכת על ידי שורה של עמודים עגולים, וצורתה חצי קשת. שלופתת מספר עצי זית עתיקים, שהיו נטועים במגרש ושומרו כחלק מגינה פנימית. הבניין עתיר בפרטים המאפיינים את הסגנון הבינלאומי - חלונות פס אופקיים עם כרכובים, שמדגישים את הזרימה האפקית של הבניין. פרגולה שמדגישה את הכניסה לבניין, וחלונות עגולים בחזית הצדית. קומת העמודים המרשימה מאפשרת גישה לארבעה חדרי מדרגות בעלי חלון אנכי מזכוכית, בהתאם למאפייני הסגנון הבינלאומי.
המבנה הוכרז לשימור בשנת 2007 במסגרת סקר שימור שנערך למבנים שתוכננו על ידי אוראל וזוהר בחיפה.

صمم هذا المبنى الأيقوني ، عام 1936 ، المهندسان المعمارتان بنيامين أورنيلويحزكيل زوهر كمبنى شقق للإيجار في حي " التخنيكوم " سابقا . جاء تصميم الطابق الأرضي كساحة مدخل مسقوفة مدعومة بسلسلة من الأعمد " المستديرة ، على شكل نصف قوس ، وتضم عددا من أشجار الزيتون العتيقة التي كانت مزروعة في قطعة الأرض ، وحوفظ عليها كجزء من حديقة داخلية تم تطويرها . المبنى غني بتفاصيل المبنى التي تميز الأسلوب العالمي ( باوهاوس ) : نوافذ أفقية مستطيلة الشكل : كبيرة الطول صغيرة الارتفاع مع كرنيزات تؤكد على الجريان الأفقي للمبنى ، وسقيفة تؤكد على مدخل المبنى ونوافذ مستديرة في الواجهة الجانبية .
طابق الأعمدة الرائعة يتيح التوجه إلى مطالع الدرج الأربعة ذات الشباك العمو ي المصنوع من الزجاج بموجب مميزات الأسلوب العالمي . أعلن المبنى للحفاظ التاريخي عام 2007 ، وذلك في إطار استطلاع حفاظ تاريخي أجري للمباني حيفا .

Adele Schiffer Dormitory -9-11 Ahad Ha’am St.
This iconic building was designed in 1936 by architects Binyamin Orell and Yehezkel Zohar as an apartment house for rent in the former Technikum neighborhood.
The ground floor was designed as a roofed indoor entrance plaza supported by a row of round pillars, in the shape of half an arc that embraces several ancient olive trees planted on the lot and kept as part of an inner garden. The building is full of details that characterize the International Style - horizontal strip windows with cornices that accentuate the horizontal flow of the building, a pergola that emphasizes the entrance to the building, and round windows at the side. The impressive pillar level allows access to four stairwells with vertical glass windows, in line with the characteristics cf the International Style.
Declared as a protected structure in 2007 during conservation survey of buildings designed by Orell and Zohar in Haifa.
