Translation of the text on the sign: In this place which once housed a home for deaf and hard of hearing people, the "Three Musketeers", Emile JULIEN (1921-1990), Eugène PERIER (1906-1985) and Antoine ROVIRALTA (1916-1994) founded the General Association of the Deaf of Montpellier and its region.
On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Emile Julien, in 2021, the AGSMR and the City of Montpellier pay tribute to them in order to remind everyone that the struggles for inclusion, tolerance and equal rights still continue today.
