המבנה תוכנן על ידי אדריכל פנחס היט בשנת 1946 עבור "חברה ארץ ישראלית לגז בע"מ" כבניין משרדים מעל קומה מסחרית, בסגנון הבינלאומי. המבנה לשימור מתוקף תכנית השימור 2650 ב’. המבנה מהווה חלק מרצף בניינים שמייצגים קשת רחבה של תקופות וסגנונות. בתים בסגנון האקלקטי, בתים בסגנון הבינלאומי ומבנים עם אזכורי סגנון אר-דקו. הבניין ממוקם בסמוך למפגש הרחובות רמב"ם ואלנבי, על מגרש בצורת טרפז, עם חזית מקבילה לרחוב, אך לא ניצב לציר הרחוב. הבניין משדר צניעות רבה והוא חף ממוטיבים צורניים ונפחיים. בחזית המבנה ניתן להבחין בהדגשת אלמנטים אופקיים כדוגמת הקרניז מעל המסחר וכן מסגרת בנויה מסביב לחלונות קומת היציע. החזית הראשית של המבנה מחופה בטיח דמוי אבן בעיבוד עדין. במסגרת עבודות השימור שונה ייעודו למגורים ונוספה קומה חלקית בנסיגה מחזית הבניין.

It was designed in the International Style by architect Pinchas Hitt in 1946 for the "Israel Land Gas Company Ltd." as an office building above a commercial floor and is protected under the conservation plan "Preservation 2650 b". The building forms part of a sequence of structures that represent a broad spectrum of eras and styles - Eclectic and International Style homes and buildings with Art Deco references. Located near the Rambam and Allenby streets intersection, on a trapezoidal plot, with a façade parallel, but not perpendicular to the street, the building transmits great modesty and is devoid of motifs, neither formal nor volumetric. At the front of the building one can see the emphasis on horizontal elements such as the cornice above the commercial floor, with a frame built around the windows of the floor. The main façade of the building is covered with plaster resembling finely processed stone. As part of the preservation work, the zoning was changed and a partial floor was added to the retreat from the façade of the building. Architecture and Conservation: Architect Benny Molcho. خطط المهندس المعماري بنحاس هيت المبني عام ١٩٤٦ من اجل " الشركة الإسرائيلية للغاز مض " ، كمبنی مکاتب فوق طابق تجاري ، على الطراز الدولي يتم حفظ المبنى وصيانته بحكم برنامج صيانة المباني ۲۹٥۰ ب . يشغل المبنى قسما من تسلسل میان تمثل تشكيلة واسعة من الفترات الزمنية ونماذج البناء . منازل على الطراز الأكلكتي ، منازل على الطراز الدولي ومنازل مع شواهد على طراز آرت - ديكو . يقع المبنى بجوار التقاء الشارعين رمبام وأللنبي ، على قطعة شكلها شبه منحرف ، مع واجهة موازية للشارع ، لكنها لا تمتثل لمحور الشارع ، يبث المبنی تواضعا شديدا ويخلو من العناصر ذات الأشكال والأحجام نشاهد في واجهة المبنى وبشكل بارز عناصر افقية مثل الافريز فوق الطابق التجاري بالإضافة إلى إطار مبنى حول نوافذ طابق المدخل الواجهة الرئيسية اللمبنى مغطاة بقصارة تشبه الحجر الذي تم تصميمه بشكل دقيق . تم تغيير هدف المبني في إطار أشغال الصيانة إلى مبنى سكني ، وأضيف طابق جزئي يتراجع إلى الوراء عن واجهة المبنى الهندسة المعمارية والصيانة : المهندس المعماري بيني مولخو . المبادرون للمشروع : غادحاي شركة استثمارات وإدارة م . ض .
