Yoana (née Halperin) Jabotinsky
1889-1949

On his twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, Jabotinsky wrote the poem Madrigal to Yoana:

"You once said to me: Your poems are for others, / And for me, your inspiration, you are mute? / But my entire life is a cycle of poems / And their entire substance is wholly and only you".

Ari, 1910-1970, Ze’ev and Yoana’s only child, spoke only Hebrew with his parents from his earliest years. He had a Ph.D. in mathematics, was a Herut movement member of the First Knesset, and lectured at the Technion.
