תכונות: עץ נוי ויער, ירוק עד, מתנשא עד לגובה 50 מ’. פורח באביב בזהוב שופע. פריו המאורך והפחוס מבשיל בסתיו. מתאים לשדרות וגם כעץ בודד בגן. העץ מתאים לתעשיית רהיטים.

סיפור: העץ: הובא לגן על ידי גנני הברון רוטשילד בשלהי המאה ה-19. עצי הגרוויליאה תחמו את שטח הגן (אז פרדס המושבה) ממעבר והיו חלק מן "הבולבאר" ממזרח.

Origin: Australia

Traits: Ornamental tree, Evergreen, reaching height of 50 meters, it flowers in spring with yellow-gold ... fruit ripens in autumn. It is very suited to boulevard , and also as a lone tree in garden. The trunk is very well suited to furniture making.

The story: This tree as brought to the gardens by Baron de Rothschild’s gardeners in the late 19th century. Graveilleas bordered the garden, which at the time was the town’s orchard, on its west, simultaneously being part of the eastern flank of "The Boulevard."
