במקום זה, ביום ט"ז באייר תש"ז, 6 במאי 1947, חטפו אנשי "החוליות המיוחדות" של המשטרה הבריטית את לוחם לח"י אלכסנדר רובוביץ בן 16 ובידו כרוזי המחתרת.
אלכסנדר עונה למוות וגופתו לא נמצאה עד היום.

ON MAY 6, 1947, AT THIS SPOT, MEMBERS OF THE "SPECIAL FORCES" OF THE BRITISH POLICE ABDUCTED 16 YEAR OLD LEHI FIGHTER ALEXANDER RUBOWITZ WHILE HE WAS CARRYING LEHI HANDBILLS. ALEXANDER WAS TORTURED TO DEATH AND HIS BODY HAS NEVER BEEN FOUND.
