במאי 1942 נחנך גן לונדון כאות הזדהות של תושבי תל-אביב עם האומה הבריטית שסבלה הפצצות קשות מידי הגרמנים בזמן ה"בליץ" בתקופת מלחמת העולם השנייה.

בשנת 2003 הוקם במקום ע"י חברת אתרים פרויקט הכולל חניון תת-קרקעי ובו 500 מקומות, ומעליו הוכשר גן חדש לרווחת הציבור.

The London Garden was inaugurated in May 1942, and dedicated to the City of London - as a token of identification of the inhabitants of Tel-Aviv with the British Nation, who suffered from severe intensive German bombing at the time of the "Blitz" during the Second VWorld War.

In 2003, Atarim Corp. initiated and developed a parking lot for 500 vehicles, and on its upper level a new garden, for the pleasure and enjoyment of the public.
