בפינות שונות של הגבעה, נחשפו שרידי ישובים מסוף האלף הרביעי לפנה"ס ואילך, בין השאר נתגלו שרידים מתקופות התנחלות שבטי ישראל בתקופת המקרא.

מערכת הקברים הסמוכה היא מתקופת מלכי יהודה
