orn in Lodz, Poland (1890-1970), immigrated to Israel in 1912. Study art before immigrating to Israel in Munich, Paris and Brussels. Boris Schatz, founder of the Bezalel School of Art, was the one who convinced him to immigrate to Israel, and he did teach sculpture at this school and even became the school’s temporary director. Designed elements in public buildings such as the doors of the Bikur Holim hospital in Jerusalem , the stained glass windows in the Great Synagogue in Tel Aviv and more.
