Born in Odessa, Ukraine (1892-1967), immigrated to Israel in 1928
An architect who worked in Jerusalem. At first he worked in the office of Dov Karmi and then opened an independent office, which was joined by Alexander Friedman And together they designed a number of buildings, among them the Yeshurun Synagogue and the Merkaz Harav yeshiva building in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood

Meir Rubin was also a public figure, active in the "Herut" movement in Jerusalem, and even served as deputy mayor of Jerusalem on its behalf.
